In July, federal funding to KPBS was rescinded by Congress, cutting $4.3 million of our annual budget. Despite this setback, we’re still here, still informing and educating, and still hopeful we will be here for generations to come. Now, more than ever, our community deserves fact-based journalism, educational programming, and stories that reflect who we are. Your gift directly supports KPBS and will keep us strong.

How Donating Your Car Works:

1. Call us or fill out the online donation form.

Our vehicle donation support team is available seven days a week and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. 

2. Schedule your free pick-up.

We’ll arrange for a licensed towing company to pick up your vehicle at a time that works best for you, completely free of charge.

3. Get your donation receipt.

When your donated vehicle is sold, the proceeds help fund our mission, and we’ll provide you with a thank-you letter and the necessary tax documents.
